Artist Bio

Here's my story...

Clay

Aside from my career in manufacturing and big business, I am a potter.

I love pots, and the clay, and the process.

My studio and home are in Grand Junction, Colorado, where I began my studies of ceramics about 10 years ago.

Attending evening classes at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts, I learned my basic skills from Gary Andrews.  Later I moved to advanced studies, refining my techniques with Terry Sheperd.

Workshops

I've attended workshops with David Wright, Rodney Mott, Ian Currie, Randy Brodnax, Doug Gray, William Shinn, Bob and Sandy Kinzie, Ricki Gill, Elaine Pinkernill, and Lana Wilson, as well as others. I have found my work to be in a constant state of flux, taking a slight turn with each new influence I encounter.
