Creative expression engages the eye in nature's continuous dance of light and line. Having been a production potter and an art director, I am now on my third stage of artistic exploration, working on monotypes and multi-media paintings of horses and trees in Western Slope landscapes, and in crystalline porcelain pottery.

Western Colorado's landscape of desert and mountains has a capturing song of pure line in motion. As the land around us moves through the seasons, my work gives expression to it, sharing the natural dance. I discover my sense of centered self in working with line and clay. To bring that joy and strength of understanding to others is my goal in my art and in my teaching.
