Holiday Sale
The Holiday Sale is scheduled for Friday evening (12-2-05) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday (12-3-05) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The location is the First Congregational Church at 1425 N. 5th St. across from Grand Junction High School. So far, the participants include Ronda Clark, Bob & Cheryl Peterson, Ben & Mary McFarlin, Pat Feinberg, Wayne Petefish, Peggy Molnar, Cindy Logue, Mark Joyce, Harold Snider, Betty Cotter, and Felicie Williams. The cost is $70.
Studio Tour
The studio tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 15th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The cost to the participants is yet to be determined, but will be dependent on the mailing and printing costs for the flyers and the number of participants in the tour. Wayne will hand out flyers for the tour at the Farmers Market downtown on the 22nd and 29th of September. We will also send out a mailing to our mailing list of slightly over 600 names.
JCAG Members Mini-workshops
This will be held on Sunday, the 25th of September at Ben & Marys Grand Junction Ceramics at 2807 C ½ Rd. The demonstrators will be Susan Wallace hand-building, Ron Cloyd tall & skinny pots, Cindy Logue, and Harold Snider goblets & marks on clay. The time will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or a little longer if we need the time. Everyone should bring a lunch and some kind of snack to share.
Wayne Petefish
Wood Kiln Wayne is building a wood kiln at Ben & Marys and could use some help on Saturday, the 17th of September. Give Wayne a call to see what time to show up. Bring gloves, as you will be handling concrete blocks.
Extruder Workshop
Ronda gave a synopsis of the extruder workshop and will be incorporating hollow extruded forms in her future work.
Pots at City Hall Exhibition
Those with pots at the Exhibition at City Hall need to plan on picking them up on Friday, September 30th.
