Holiday Sale
The Holiday Sale is scheduled for Friday evening (12-2-05) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday (12-3-05) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  The location is the First Congregational Church at 1425 N. 5th St. across from Grand Junction High School. 

The participants include Ronda Clark, Ron Cloyd, Bob & Cheryl Peterson, Ben & Mary McFarlin, Pat Feinberg, Wayne Petefish, Peggy Molnar, Cindy Logue, Harold Snider, Joanie Post, and Felicie Williams. The cost is $70.

Exhibition at Community Hospital

The possibility of exhibiting our work at Community Hospital was discussed.  It was decided that only pieces that could be displayed on the wall would be considered (platters, masks, slab pieces, etc.) as the work and expense of creating covered display pedestals would be too great.  Also, it was decided that early 2006 would give the membership time to create wall pieces.  Subsequent to the meeting, Harold contacted Community Hospital and passed this information along to them.  Since they plan on a 3-month rotation of artwork and they have not presently installed anything, this would work out fine.

Business Answers for Artists
Bob Peterson brought brochures on the seminar he has organized on this subject.  Among the topics  covered are: 

1) How can I get into a gallery and what do gallery owners want,

2) How do other artists become successful,

3) How much should I charge,

4) Are arts and crafts shows profitable, and more. 

The keynote speaker will be Jim Dutton.  Other speakers include Terry Shepherd, Connie Williams, Tracy Munson, Dianna Fritzler, Valerie Devereux, and Cathy Larsen. Cost: $45
