Guild Show at the Art Center, Grand Junction

The show opened on Friday, February 8th, 2008 and will remain in the Gould Gallery at the Center until March 15th.

For the second year running, the Junction Clay Arts Guild (JCAG) has been invited by the Western Colorado Center for the Arts to showcase their best works.  Many thanks to the Art Center and Camille Silverman, Programs & Exhibition Coordinator, for this show!

Twenty-two of the Guild members are exhibiting almost seventy pieces of clay art.  The works run the gamut of different clays, forming and firing techniques and artistic styles.  There are large sculptural standing pieces, wall-hanging works, and vessels of all descriptions.  The Art Center at the corner of Seventh and Orchard is open from 9-4 Tuesday through Saturday.  Go down and take in the incredible variety of  local clay art!
